Le palais Farnèse est un palais de la haute Renaissance de Rome. Depuis 1874, il est le siège de l'ambassade de France en Italie et depuis 1875, également celui de l'École française de Rome.
Le palais du Quirinal est un palais romain, qui se trouve sur la colline du Quirinal et qui fait face à la place éponyme, à Rome. Résidence papale, elle est occupée, à partir de 1870, par le roi d'Italie et sa famille avant de devenir, enfin, la résidence officielle du président de la République italienne. Ce palais, l'un des plus vastes au monde, est l'un des symboles les plus éminents de l'État italien. Construit à partir de 1574 à l'initiative du pape Grégoire XIII, le palais du Quirinal est l'un des bâtiments les plus prestigieux de la capitale italienne, tant du point de vue artistique que du point de vue politique. Plusieurs artistes, parmi les plus grands d'Italie voire d'Europe, ont contribué à sa construction ou à ses aménagements, comme Pietro da Cortona, Domenico Fontana, Ferdinando Fuga et Carlo Maderno. Actuellement, le palais abrite le plus grand fragment d'une fresque de l'artiste Melozzo da Forlì. Paul V est le premier pontife prenant vraiment place au Quirinal, qui sera la résidence romaine de trente papes, de Grégoire XIII à Pie IX. Le palais est toutefois davantage utilisé par la papauté comme une résidence secondaire, son véritable siège étant le Palais apostolique. En 1870, le palais devient une résidence royale après la prise de Rome et accueille, jusqu'en 1946, les quartiers de la famille royale d'Italie. Après l'instauration de la République italienne, le bâtiment est provisoirement réquisitionné pour accueillir les dignitaires étrangers invités par le nouveau régime, avant qu'il ne soit établi, à partir du 1er janvier 1948, comme la résidence officielle du président de la République italienne. Couvrant une superficie de 110 500 m², le palais du Quirinal est l'un des plus grands palais d'Europe ; il est, en outre, l'une des plus grandes résidences de chef d'État au monde. L'actuel hôte du Quirinal est Sergio Mattarella, président de la République italienne depuis le 3 février 2015.

The New Bedford Whaling Museum is a museum in New Bedford, Massachusetts, United States that focuses on the history, science, art, and culture of the international whaling industry, and the "Old Dartmouth" region in the South Coast of Massachusetts. The museum is governed by the Old Dartmouth Historical Society , which was established in 1903 "to create and foster an interest in the history of Old Dartmouth." Since then, the museum has expanded its scope to include programming that addresses global issues "including the consequences of natural resource exhaustion, the diversification of industry, and tolerance in a multicultural society." Its collections include over 750,000 items, including 3,000 pieces of scrimshaw and 2,500 logbooks from whaling ships, both of which are the largest collections in the world, as well as five complete whale skeletons. The museum's complex consists of several contiguous buildings housing 20 exhibit galleries and occupying an entire city block within the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park, although operated independently.The museum also houses a collection of fine art, including works by major American artists who lived or worked in the New Bedford area, such as Albert Bierstadt, William Bradford, and Albert Pinkham Ryder, as well as a collection of locally produced decorative art, glassware, and furniture associated with the rise of New Bedford as a whaling port in the 19th century. The museum's Bourne Building houses the Lagoda, a half-scale model of a whaling ship that was commissioned in 1916 and is the world's largest model whaling ship.
Greyfriars, Worcester is a Grade I listed building in Worcester, England. Its location near to a former friary of the Franciscan order of Greyfriars has in the past led to speculation that it was constructed as their guest house, but it is now believed to have been built as a house and brew-house c.1485 for Thomas Grene, brewer and High Bailiff of Worcester from 1493-1497. It has been in the ownership of the National Trust since 1966.
Springhill is a 17th-century plantation house in the townland of Ballindrum near Moneymore, County Londonderry in Northern Ireland. It has been the property of the National Trust since 1957 and, in addition to the house, gardens and park, there is a costume collection and a purported ghost. It is open from March to June, and September on weekends, and is open to the public seven days a week during July and August.

The Palazzo Comunale , also known as the Palazzo del Popolo of San Gimignano has been the seat of the civic authority in the comune since the 13th century. It is located on the Piazza del Duomo close to the Collegiate Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The building and Collegiate Church are at the heart of the medieval town, and are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the "Historic Centre of San Gimignano".The building contains important fresco decorations by Memmo di Filippuccio, Lippo Memmi and others, a museum and a gallery with works of the Florentine and Sienese schools of art - including paintings by Coppo di Marcovaldo, Lippo Memmi, Benozzo Gozzoli, Filippino Lippi, Il Sodoma and Pinturicchio.
