Le musée du Luxembourg est un lieu d'exposition d'art installé dans une aile bâtie perpendiculairement à l'orangerie du palais du Luxembourg, rue de Vaugirard, dans le 6e arrondissement de Paris.
Depuis 2000, cette institution culturelle est placée sous la tutelle du Sénat français, qui siège dans le reste du palais .
Sa vocation actuelle est de présenter périodiquement des expositions artistiques thématiques et originales privilégiant trois axes de programmation, en lien avec l’histoire du lieu : « la Renaissance en Europe », « Art et pouvoir » et « le Palais, le Jardin et le Musée : le Luxembourg au cœur de Paris, capitale des arts ».
Le musée Cernuschi est un musée parisien consacré aux arts asiatiques, et plus spécifiquement à ceux de l'Extrême-Orient : Chine, Japon, Corée et Vietnam. C'est le deuxième musée consacré aux arts asiatiques en France et le cinquième consacré à l’art chinois en Europe.
Jacques Boucher de Perthes, de son vrai nom Jacques Boucher de Crèvecœur, naît à Perthes, près de Rethel , le 10 septembre 1788, et meurt à Abbeville , le 5 août 1868. Il exerce la profession de directeur des Douanes mais est surtout connu en tant que préhistorien français : il réussit à faire admettre l'existence de ce qu'il dénomme « l'Homme antédiluvien » et jette les bases de la science préhistorique dont il est considéré comme l'un des fondateurs.

The Museum's collections range from the Paleo-Indian period through the present day. Permanent exhibitions depict the Native American cultures of the Woodlands, Plains, Southwest, Northwest Coast and Arctic. Two temporary exhibit galleries have special thematic shows that change two times a year.
The MIT Museum, founded in 1971, is located at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The McMichael Canadian Art Collection is an art museum in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. The museum is located on a 40 hectares property in Kleinburg, an unincorporated village in Vaughan. The property includes the museum's 7,900 square metres main building, a sculpture garden, walking trails, and the cemetery for six members of the Group of Seven.
The collection dates back to 1955, when Robert and Signe McMichael began to collect works from artists associated to the Group of Seven, exhibiting their works at their home in Kleinburg. In 1965, the McMichaels formally reached an agreement to donate their collection and their Kleinburg property to the Government of Ontario in order to establish an art museum. The institution was opened to the public as the McMichael Conservation Collection of Art in 1966. The museum was formally incorporated into the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in 1972. Although the museum was originally established with an institutional focus on the Group of Seven, the museum's mandate was later expanded to include contemporary Canadian art, and art from indigenous Canadians.
The museum's permanent collection includes over 6,500 works from Canadian artists. In addition to its permanent collections, the institution also serves as the custodians for the archives of works on paper by Inuit artists based in Kinngait. The Mariano Procópio Museum is a museum of art, history and the natural sciences located in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Founded in 1915 by Alfredo Ferreira Lage, it was the first museum ever built in Minas Gerais, and the third museum ever built in Brazil. The museum contains approximately 45,000 specimens.
