Camposanto Monumentale ou Camposanto Vecchio é um edifício histórico na porção norte do Campo dei Miracoli de Pisa, na Itália. Ele tem este nome por que acredita-se que o edifício foi construído à volta de um carregamento de terra santa trazida do Gólgota durante a Quarta Cruzada por Ubaldo de' Lanfranchi, um arcebispo de Pisa do século XII. Uma lenda afirma que os corpos enterrados ali apodrecerão em apenas 24 horas. O campo está sobre as ruínas do antigo batistério da Igreja de Santa Reparata, que ficava onde hoje está a catedral. Cambridge University Library is the main research library of the University of Cambridge in England. It is also the largest of 114 libraries within the University. The Library is a major scholarly resource for the members of the University of Cambridge and external researchers. It is often referred to within the University as the UL. Twenty-one affiliate libraries are associated with the University Library for the purpose of central governance and administration. Cambridge University Library is one of the six legal deposit libraries under UK law. The Library holds approximately 9 million items and, through legal deposit, purchase and donation it receives around 100,000 items every year. The University Library is unique among the legal deposit libraries in keeping a large proportion of its material on open access and in allowing some categories of reader to borrow from its collections. Its original location was the Old Schools near the Senate House until it outgrew the space there and a new library building was constructed in the 1930s. The library took over the site of a former military hospital on the western side of Cambridge city centre, now between Robinson College and the Memorial Court of Clare College. The current building, designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, opened in 1934. The current librarian, Dr Jessica Gardner, is only the second female librarian to hold this office.

St. Andrew's Hall and Blackfriars' Hall are a Grade I listed set of friary church and convent buildings in the English city of Norwich, Norfolk, dating back to the 14th century. They make up the most complete friary complex surviving in England. The complex is made up of several flint buildings. The centrepiece is St Andrew's Hall. The halls are now used for conferences, weddings, concerts, beer festivals and meetings. The maximum capacity is 1200 people. It is one of the Norwich 12 heritage sites.

Raffles foi o primeiro corrdenador e presidente mas em Julho do mesmo do mesmo ano veio a falecer. Foi sucedido pelo Marquês de Lansdowne que supervisionou a construção do primeiro abrigo de animais, um pedaço de terra no Regent's Park obtida por Crown na reunião de inauguração. Recebeu a Escritura Real de Jorge IV em 27 de Março de 1829.

Wollaton Hall é um palácio rural situado em Wollaton, Nottingham, Inglaterra, iniciado em 1580 e terminado em 1588, por Sir Francis Willoughby . Foi desenhado pleo arquitecto isabelino, Robert Smythson . A construção consiste num grande hall central, rodeadopor quatro torres. Infelizmente, um incêndio causou estragos na decoração interior desta obra de Smythson, em algumas das salas do andar térreo, embora tenham ocorrido poucos danos estruturais. Sir Jeffry Wyattville remodelou-o em 1801, o que viria a acontecer periodicamente até à década de 1830. A galeria do hall principal contém o mais antigo órgão de tubos do Nottinghamshire. Pensa-se que este órgão data do século XVII, provavelmente feito pelo fabricante Gerard Smith. Ainda é tocado manualmente. Wollaton Hall pertence agora ao município de Nottingham. Actualnente alberga a colecção de História natural de John Ray, com animais e pássaros embalsamados. Em 1855, Joseph Paxton desenhou uma réplica aproximada de Wollaton Hall no Buckinghamshire, conhecida actualmente como Mentmore Towers. Os campos da propriedade, acolhem anualmente o Intercounties Cross Country trials, sempre no mês de Março, assim como muitos outros eventos. Neste parque, durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial membros do 508º Regimento de Infantaria Paraquedista dos EUA foram alojados na casa antes de serem enviados para a Europa continental. Warrington Town Hall is in the town of Warrington, Cheshire, England. It consists of a house, originally called Bank Hall, flanked by two detached service wings at right angles to the house, one on each side. The house and the service wings are each recorded in the National Heritage List for England as designated Grade I listed buildings. Being in that part of the town north of the River Mersey, the house falls within the historic county of Lancashire. The architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner declared it to be "the finest house of its date in south Lancashire".

The University of Bradford is a public research university located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. This plate glass university received its royal charter in 1966, making it the 40th university to be created in Britain, but can trace its origins back to the establishment of the industrial West Yorkshire town's Mechanics Institute in 1832. The student population includes 7,435 undergraduate and 2,225 postgraduate students. Mature students make up around a third of the undergraduate community. 22% of students are foreign, and come from over 110 different countries. There were 14,406 applications to the university through UCAS in 2010, of which 3,421 were accepted.It was the first British university to establish a Department of Peace Studies in 1973, which is currently the world's largest university centre for the study of peace and conflict.

The Wilson, formerly known as Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, was opened in 1899. It offers free admission, and has a programme of special exhibitions. It was renamed The Wilson in honour of polar explorer Edward Wilson, a son of Cheltenham, in 2013 after the building was extended. The gallery and museum is managed by The Cheltenham Trust. The museum is housed in part of a Regency building on Clarence Street , designed as the Cheltenham Public Library by architect William Hill Knight, who also designed the Cheltenham Synagogue and Montpellier Walk. In 2007 a national architectural design competition was launched by RIBA Competitions to extend the building, providing more space for the renowned Arts and Crafts collection. Through this process Berman Guedes Stretton were selected by Cheltenham Borough Council and the extension was completed in 2012. Baron de Ferrieres, a former Mayor and Liberal MP for Cheltenham, gave 43 important paintings, mostly from Belgium and the Netherlands, to the town. He also donated £1,000 towards the building of a gallery in which to display them. The Museum was opened in 1907 in the adjacent former Schools of Art and Science. A major extension to the building by Hugh Casson was opened by the Princess Royal in September 1989, where the main entrance to the gallery is now situated. The museum is particularly noted for its Arts and Crafts collection of furniture, textiles, ceramics, carvings, silver and jewellery which is recognised as an outstanding collection of international importance for which the Art Gallery & Museum has received Designated status.Cheltenham's history is well represented, and in addition there are paintings spanning four centuries, oriental collections of pottery and costume, and archaeological treasures from the neighbouring Cotswolds.The Edward Wilson gallery shows the life of the Antarctic explorer who perished with Scott on his expedition to the South Pole in 1912.

The Tank Museum is a collection of armoured fighting vehicles at Bovington Camp in Dorset, South West England. It is about 1 mile north of the village of Wool and 12 miles west of the major port of Poole. The collection traces the history of the tank. With almost 300 vehicles on exhibition from 26 countries it is the largest collection of tanks and the third largest collection of armoured vehicles in the world. It includes Tiger 131, the only working example of a German Tiger I tank, and a British First World War Mark I, the world's oldest surviving combat tank. It is the museum of the Royal Tank Regiment and the Royal Armoured Corps and is a registered charity.
